In the beginning of 2019, Melissa opened HearSound, Inc., with the primary focus of helping people hear within the Boone community. She is proud to have the freedom to be customer-driven and strives to implement the same care of her patients that she learned under Jim Carlson.

Cathy has lived in Boone for 43 years and has known Melissa for many of them. Melissa previously provided hearing care to my husband and is now meeting my needs as well. Cathy worked at the Ericson Public Library for 41 years and looks forward to continuing to serve the community.
Marcia Schuler
Patient Care Coordinator
Marcia Schuler has spent her life in Boone, where she grew up and continues to reside. After graduating from Boone High School, she attended the DMACC Ankeny campus, earning a degree in the Medical Assistant Program. Following several years of working in a doctor’s office, she returned to school to become a Respiratory Therapist, a career she enjoyed for 35 years.
